An initial challenge we had when registering the KAMOiL Coconut Oil brand with NAFDAC was how to fortify the oil with Vitamin A since we applied under foods department at the time. Apparently, we were surprised - because we had never seen any foreign coconut oil brand that was fortified with Vitamin A; this is the agency's standard policy, unless applying under the cosmetics department it would not be mandatory. So, we decided to register the KAMOiL brand both as a food and as a cosmetic (with opportunities for more variants).

Please note: The coconuts we use are organically grown by our dedicated farmers, who are also members of the KAMORGANiC SOCiETY. This helps us to maintain the consistency of our choice of specie, purity, natural aroma and distinct flavour - and only the very best coconuts are selected for all our brands.
